Long Distance Relationships and the Things In Between

P246

It is highly impossible for everyone to know what a person in a long distance relationship feels like when apart from their loved one if they aren't or haven't been in the sane situation at all. Sometimes, even people with similar experiences cannot exactly say what that person is going through since no one is the same. We may get ideas of how they truly feel at one point i time but we can't fully grasp this idea. It is only when the person involved would relate every feeling he or she has in such a way that we get to have the same "feeling".

Coping seems so easy to do but it is not. People cope differently from others. Some indulge in heavy partying to make themselves happy while some may sulk every single day they are apart from their partners. The previous may sound much better than the latter but either way, both are suffering. Thus, people in distance relationships make themselves busy instead.

The picture above is a result of a long distance relationship advice that was put to good use. Using the feelings she has for her significant other, she created a beautiful song with meaningful lyrics. Although it has yet to be continued, it is excellent as it already is. I found this online and even got a video of the person singing this song. It was so sweet. I even had the chance to have an interview with the composer.

We can hear people say that those who are in long distance relationships seem so desperate and distressed when apart, and that it is ridiculous. But hey, it isn't their fault that they're in love with someone who lives away from them. Love comes during the most unexpected times. Do not rush into love. Learn to wait for it. When it comes, you will surely know. And when it is right, everything will feel right.

If you are ashamed to ask for help when coping with your long distance relationship, do not worry. You aren't the only person who has undergone that situation. More than 50% of the human population has, too. Learn to cope in a positive way as it is the best alternative to prevent severe depression.
