Fashion Revitalization

I know fashion comes and goes. These days, I noticed that a lot of people are going back to the old nineties looks - well, at least some of it. Peopple are going retro, from the retro two-tone sunglasses to the peplum dresses and classy fedoras. It's not bad, it's actually great. We all get to look like our grandparents at some point. *wink*

Anyway, I came across this beautiful skirt shorts on Eazy Fashion and I remembered that I had more or less the same shorts when I was in my early high school years. I know it wasn't that long ago but hey, it's back again!

Looking back to my high school days, I know I pulled it off back then but not the same way I could pull it off now. If I were to wear these girly skirt shorts now, I know I wouldn't look like a walking clothesline this time. (I was thin and walked around wearing a little loose clothes back then.)

Doesn't it just look fabulous? :))

Spicing Up The Cold Weather

Christmas is in the air and it's just getting a little cold anywhere in the world now. For those of you who are experiencing the winter chills, take a time out from all your hugging (aka human blankets) and start investing in some wow-nderful winter clothes.

But just because it's winter doesn't mean that you're going to have to wear those heavy winter clothes to keep cool. There are other beautiful winter clothes that you can choose from that will allow you to flaunt your style but keep some layers of clothes off your body. Take a look at this find.

Winter
This is a spliced V-neck sleeveless black vest that will keep you warm as you walk around your neighborhood exposed to the cold winter breeze. Even if it is a sleeveless vest, you aren't going to walk around with only that, right? You have to wear something wooly so as to keep your body warm when walking outside.

Winter2
Doesn't it look good on your white and wooled long-sleeved shirt? It's enough to keep you warm and looking classy. If I were you, I'd grab one myself. If we had winter in our country, I would definitely get myself this beautiful winter sleeveless vest from Romwe.

Leggings and Tights Galore

I'm not exactly a leggings and tights kind of person, but when I checked out the Romwe website, I was just captivated by beautiful designs that their leggings and jeans were flaunting. Just take a look at these.

Tightd
Beautiful aren't they? In fact, I began thinking that maybe I should get one myself to wear for this Christmas season. It would certainly be an eye-catching change, don't you think? I could definitely turn people's heads, but this time, they wouldn't be looking at how awkward I walk; instead, they'd be focusing more on what I'm wearing.

I particularly like this pair of leggings, it just seems to pop. I love the nude tights but they might not be that useful for me, unless I were a model who is so confident of her legs, though. But who knows, maybe in the far future I'd be confident enough to do the same. lol

Fashion Blogger Photo How-Tos

I am NOT a fashion blogger (not yet though), nor am I a model! This has always been my excuse whenever I dish out really sucky photos. To be honest, I was a super shy girl back then, but thanks to friends, I've turned out to become a semi-shy lady who checks herself out in the mirror (whenever there are mirrors available). To describe myself in one word, vain. But I have to tell you, I still can't strike a good pose.

Here are some photos to prove my point. (Please be kind and don't laugh at me.)

That's me in the middle, looking really stupid.

My friends told me to do a pose and this was the best thing I came up with. Sucks, I know.

And that's me in the blue hoodie looking awkward and unnatural.

This one's not as bad as the previous ones but it isn't good either. In case you didn't see me, I'm that girl wearing brown heels with a skimpy dress and a black vest.

I am the second girl from the left. If you remember that pose, that was like a repeat of my very first picture in this post, only I didn't do the 'salute' then.

Now here's a more recent picture of me.

From all of the above pictures I showed you guys, not one of them is 'fashion blogger material' or 'model material' pose. I know they suck, but hey, I figured at least I was improving. And at least I don't qualify for the photos mentioned in How to pose like a fashion blogger. The article is funny but the author just voiced out opinions, and I totally agree with him!

I don't have anything against fashion bloggers, but I'm merely pointing out that I can't pose like they do. I am willing to learn though, but I guess a tiger can't change its stripes. Now I'm stuck with mine.

Let's army up!

P169

I've always wanted to try my hand at being rebellious, but I never was able to try it out. If I do get that chance, I'm going to wear something a little like this.

Of course, I'm going to have to scour my cabinet to see what I can use and what I can mix and match. Good thing Romwe is around to provide me choices of the latest in street fashion. Toodles!

Look Good and Save the Earth

1 && 1 &&

I absolutely love wearing sunglasses, especially since I didn't get to wear them back when I was little miss invisible, with my glasses and all that. But now that I can walk around without worrying about the world around me, I can definitely pick a pair of sunglasses that I could match with my outfit.

One of the coolest looking sunglasses I've seen is the Panda Sunglasses. Aside from the fact that they look good on you, they are practically cheaper than those other equally beautiful branded sunglasses that cost a little over 10,000 pesos. Panda Sunglasses, on the other hand, only cost 6,000 pesos! Why? Because they are hand-crafted bamboo sunglasses!

Think about it, you'll be looking as awesome as you already are but this time, you're helping save mother earth. Now isn't that a little helping hand all of us would need?

Panda Sunglasses, one of these days, I'm going to have one of you! bwahahaha

From Fashion Disaster to Fashion Prodigy

I have never been the kind of girl who would sit in front of a mirror and obsess over her looks and just pore oveer magazines to try to 'update' her look. I was the shy and timid girl who really didn't care, who sat in front of the class and just try to be miss goody2shoes.

But that all changed when someone told me in all sincerity that I was pretty.

Of course, I didn't believe it at first, but being the natural skeptic that I am, it wasn't really  much of a surprise. Yet that was all in the past. From someone who would almost always avoid looking at the mirror, I now check my looks in every mirror I pass by. It's the rags to riches story, but in the fashion sense.

This was the me years ago, that girl with the glasses who didn't seem to care.

But this is me now. My choice of clothes has greatly improved, as well as my physical looks. *wink wink*

I recently found out about the latest street fashion online and I was like, "WOW". I am talking about Romwe. Their clothes are exactly my type of clothes, and not they're not the slutty ones, alright.

This Rivets Embellised All-match Black Vest is one of the many casual clothes that I want to purchase from Romwe. It just screams ME all over!

It's time I save up again and spend my hard-earned money for these babies. I just fell in love with them again. *sigh*
