Relationships are not always smooth sailing. Sometimes, we travel on a dirt road trying to dodge all the bumps we meet along the way. Problems are nothing new when we get into a relationship. Although sometimes viewed negatively, these problems actually make the relationship healthy in the sense that you get to understand how the other's mind works.
In the song above, the couple aren't exactly apart but it just feels that way because they have problems. Problems are challenges to relationships, especially when you are in a long distance relationship.
